Bringing the Iconic Flying Dress Experience

Miss Australia Flying Dresses was founded by Greek - Australian photographer Anna Argyropoulos, one of the early photographers in Santorini’s flying dress photography scene and the first Greek photographer to create her own flying dress concept and design her own dresses.
With more than 20 years of professional photography experience, Anna helped shape the evolution of flying dress photography, creating powerful and elegant images that became part of Santorini’s iconic visual style.
Today, the tradition continues in Santorini, where her daughter carries on the flying dress photography legacy, while Anna now brings her original concept, dresses and artistic vision to Australia, offering women a unique and unforgettable flying dress experience.
*A Little About Me…*
My name is Anna, and I am your photographer. I’m also a proud mom of two amazing children, Venetia and Dimitris.
My daughter Venetia is a beautiful and strong woman who is an amazing photographer, hairstylist, and makeup artist. She truly has the full package, and she is also an incredible high-end retoucher. She is my Superpower!
Together we have built something very special over the years. We have created beautiful work and unforgettable experiences for women around the world. We have also traveled and worked in places like Las Vegas, America, Australia, Europe and of course Santorini — always learning, growing, and creating together.
Today, Venetia continues the flying dress tradition in Santorini, while I have brought this magical experience here to Australia.
My son Dimitris is my teenager, my little man, who is always by my side. He is growing up with me through this journey, and both my children remind me every day why I keep moving forward and why I never give up on my dreams.
Life has taken me through many waves and many experiences, but photography has always been my passion.
I was born in Athens, Greece, but I grew up in Australia, where I spent some of the most beautiful years of my childhood. As a teenager I returned to Greece and lived there for many years, building my life and my work.
But Australia was always in my heart. It was always my dream to return here one day — and now that dream has come true.
I’ve discovered love and light through photography, backed by my studies in Photography, Drama Theatre Arts, and Graphic & Web Design.
Through my photography, I want every woman to feel strong, confident, and beautiful.
